CSA Global LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support MyNavy HR modernization efforts by ensuring the effective integration of systems, processes, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in systems engineering, software integration, and business process alignment, contributing to the successful transformation and optimization of MyNavy HR operations.


This position is contingent upon funding.


How Your Role Will Make an Impact:


Systems and Business Process Integration:

  • Analyze and document "As-Is" and "To-Be" systems and processes, conducting gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the integration of systems, software, and hardware to align with MyNavy HR’s modernization objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of business processes with IT systems and cloud infrastructure.

 Software and Systems Support:

  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation and optimization of software and systems to meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Assist in the migration and integration of legacy systems into modernized environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
  • Develop and enforce protocols for software and systems maintenance, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF) and Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) standards.

Cloud Infrastructure and Network Integration:

  • Support the integration and management of cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability and efficiency of operations.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing network and hardware configurations to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Ensure that all systems comply with security and computing environment standards, addressing vulnerabilities as required.

Project Support and Collaboration:

  • Participate in cross-functional working groups, Integrated Product Team (IPT) sessions, and milestone reviews to provide engineering expertise.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including functional requirements, integration plans, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement:  

  • Ensure all processes and systems adhere to DoD compliance standards, including Information Assurance (IA) and Computing Environment (CE) requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing system and process performance.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

  • Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Secret clearance
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Business, Engineering, or Physical Science.  
  • 10+ years of experience in software, systems engineering, business processes, and system/network/software/hardware integration.
  • Proven expertise in supporting large-scale modernization and transformation initiatives within federal or DoD environments.
  • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level.  
  • Proficiency in systems and software integration, business process analysis, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with DODAF, BEA, and security compliance frameworks.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
