CSA Global LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Engineer to provide support for MyNavy HR modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in systems engineering, software integration, and business process alignment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key transformation initiatives, focusing on integrating systems, processes, and cloud infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.


This position is contingent upon funding.


How Your Role Will Make an Impact:


Systems and Business Process Support:

  • Assist in documenting and analyzing "As-Is" and "To-Be" systems and processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Support the integration of systems, software, and hardware to align with MyNavy HR modernization objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective alignment of business processes with IT systems and cloud environments.

Software and Systems Integration:

  • Provide hands-on support for system and software integration efforts, ensuring compatibility and compliance with operational requirements.
  • Assist in the migration of legacy systems into modernized environments, maintaining continuity of operations.
  • Maintain system and software documentation, ensuring it reflects current configurations and standards.

Cloud Infrastructure and Network Support:

  • Support cloud infrastructure integration to enhance the scalability and reliability of MyNavy HR operations.
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining network and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Address system vulnerabilities in compliance with Department of Defense standards and security policies.

Technical Documentation and Collaboration:

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including integration plans, specifications, and system configurations.
  • Participate in working groups, milestone reviews, and cross-functional meetings to provide engineering support and insights.
  • Communicate technical updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and potential solutions.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure adherence to DoD compliance standards, including Information Assurance (IA) and Computing Environment (CE) requirements.
  • Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies to provide insights for modernization initiatives.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

  • Clearance: Must possess a U.S. Secret clearance
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, software integration, business processes, and system/network/software/hardware integration.
  • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level.
  • Basic understanding of systems and software integration, cloud infrastructure, and business process analysis.
  • Familiarity with DoD frameworks such as DODAF and BEA, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively to team efforts.
