CSA Selected as Palmetto Tech Bridge Challenge Winner for Innovation in Robotic Process Automation
March 24, 2021. Fairfax, VA. – Client Solution Architects LLC was awarded the Palmetto Tech Bridge Challenge for delivering an innovative Robotic Process Automation (RPA) approach to unattended authentication and credentialing of bots. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic announced in November its first-ever “Palmetto Tech Bridge Prize Challenge” under a partnership between the command and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)’s challenge.gov website.
The open, public competition accepted papers through December 20 and competed under two topics: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT). CSA was the only winner in the category of RPA for its innovative approach to utilizing unattended bots.
“We were very pleased with the innovation displayed with these technological concepts,” said Don Sallee, NIWC Atlantic’s acquisition planning services manager. “The ideas these industry partners are proposing will further accelerate our efforts to provide warfighters the automated systems and precision PNT they need to win the information war.”CSA’s RPA solution was down-selected to five finalists, followed by the opportunity to defend its position in front of a six-person panel on March 3, 2021. CSA was notified of its award on March 5, 2021. CSA’s winning solution delved into unattended automation.
“As an innovation first organization, CSA is thrilled to accept the prize challenge award for RPA in NIWC Atlantic’s first Palmetto Tech Bridge Challenge,” said Adam Casler, CSA’s director of technology strategy and innovation. “Our years of automation partnership within the DoD led way to the launch of NAVSUP’s first bot to operate behind the NMCI firewall, and we are now privileged to iterate upon that success with our proven solution for credentialing unattended bots within the NMCI network.”
