February 8, 2021 – MECHANICSBURG, Pa. Client Solution Architects LLC (CSA) announced today that it has been appraised in accordance with the CMMI Services V2.0 (CMMI-SVC) and received a Level 2 maturity rating. The CMMI-SVC appraisal was conducted from December 7 to December 11, 2020, and was led by Gary Coleman, CMMI Lead Appraiser from BG Solutions and Services and Emily Murphy, CSA’s quality director.

Improving our quality process for services to CMMI Level 2 demonstrates our organizational readiness to tackle complex and challenging client delivery efforts—emphasizing quality, predictability and repeatability,” said CSA’s COO, Amy Bleken. “CMMI will take CSA’s organizational capability and performance to the next level so we can better support and deliver on our clients’ missions.”
The CMMI for Services is an integrated set of best practices that improve performance and key capabilities for organizations that provide services, both B2B and B2C. An appraisal at maturity level 2 indicates the organization is performing at a “managed” level. At this level, projects have ensured that processes are planned and executed in accordance with policy; the projects employ skilled people who have adequate resources to produce controlled outputs; involve relevant stakeholders; are monitored, controlled and reviewed; and are evaluated for adherence to their process descriptions.
V2.0 is CMMI’s newest model that was released in March 2018 to help organizations quickly understand their current level of capability and performance in the context of their own business objectives and compared to similar organizations. The difference between V1.3 and V2.0 is four key improvements: business performance, agility and scalability, increased benchmarking value and accelerated adoption.
