Thomas “Matt” Matthews serves as CSA's Chief Delivery Officer, where he oversees all delivery operations, ensures excellence across teams, and reinforces the company's role as a leader in addressing national security challenges. With expertise in program delivery and market expansion, he drives innovation and supports CSA's commitment to delivering impactful results for its clients.
Prior to his current role, Matt served as Vice President of Army and Other Agencies for CSA, where he facilitated customer-focused solutions that enabled readiness, strategic planning, and mission-critical operations.
Before his career with CSA, he was the Director of Operations for Capstone Corporation, where he managed programs and business development activities for Joint, Service and Combatant Command customers. He successfully implemented service offerings in training, analysis and operations. He also expanded live, virtual, and constructive capabilities in support of U.S. and multinational units. Matt spent ten years at SAIC where he served in several analytical and leadership roles. He served as a program manager and as a capture manager for NATO and Department of Defense customers. He also served as a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and delivered innovative results for a variety of customers, including the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Marine Corps. Matt presented at the Military Operations Research Society Symposium and served in the Office of the Governor for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Matt’s proven experience in corporate leadership, management, growth, profit and loss and strategic planning guarantees his delivery of integrated solutions across a diverse portfolio. He fosters highly capable teams, develops strong customer relationships, and advances transformation to meet national security challenges.
Matt holds a MA in War Studies from King’s College London, United Kingdom, and a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
