US Navy awards CSA with an $85M contract to support PEO EIS
May 29, 2014 - FAIRFAX, Va. – The U.S. Navy awarded Client Solution Architects LLC with an $85M contract to support the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), the Naval Enterprise Network Program Office (PMW 205) and the Navy Enterprise Business Solutions Program Office, formally known as the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) Program Office (PMW 220). CSA and its teaming partners will provide services in the areas of acquisition program management, project management, financial management, contract management, administration operations, public affairs and total force management.“This is a strategically significant and important win for CSA. We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to serve PEO EIS Headquarters, PMW 205 and PMW 220 by providing enterprise network, business and fleet support Information Technology (IT) to the Department of the Navy,” stated Pete Tomczak, CSA’s Director of Operations for the National Capital Region. “We are honored that the Navy and SPAWAR have again elected to partner with CSA for another complex and essential task.”Navy PEO EIS provides IT support and technical solutions for the Department of the Navy within the enterprise and business domain. PEO EIS is responsible for overseeing lifecycle management of several Acquisition Category 1 IT programs, projects and initiatives. In this role, PEO EIS is accountable for the efficient and proper planning, design, implementation and operation of shore based Department of the Navy networks and combat support related enterprise information systems. Furthermore, PEO EIS is a key stakeholder in the development of requirements for future IT capabilities and operations.The PMW 205 program office manages the acquisition lifecycle for Department of Navy enterprise-wide IT networks. The PMW 205 program office is responsible for unifying the Department of the Navy’s terrestrial networks and data management systems, including the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) and the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN).The PMW 220 program office is responsible for the development and deployment of integrated defense business systems that modernize and standardize Navy business operations. By providing unprecedented management visibility across the enterprise, the systems improve Navy leadership decision making, enabling more effective and efficient support of the war fighter by streamlining and standardizing how the Navy manages people, money, programs, equipment and supplies.Work will primarily be performed on-site at PEO EIS in Arlington, Va. and PMW 205/220 facilities at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington D.C. Secondary places of performance will be at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego and the Naval Network Warfare Command (NNWC) in Norfolk, Va. The period of performance is one base year with four option years.
