CSA awarded $31m US Navy NAVAIR Logistics and Technical Support Contract
May 8, 2017–TOMS RIVER, N.J.—Client Solution Architects (CSA) LLC has been awarded a $31 million contract for logistics and technical support to the U.S. Navy at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). CSA will provide support services in the areas of planning, acquisition, analysis, development, training, support equipment management, facilities and execution for Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) AIR-6.7 Lakehurst.
NAWCAD Lakehurst at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) is the world leader in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Naval Aviation Support Equipment. It is the critical link between Naval Aviation and Navy Aircraft Carrier Battle Groups worldwide. NAVAIR Lakehurst is responsible for maintaining fleet support and infusing modern technology across the entire spectrum of equipment needed to launch, land and maintain fixed and vertical wing aircraft at sea and in expeditionary airfields worldwide.
“This is a great opportunity for CSA to deliver on our differentiator, Guidance Consulting,” said Todd Yanik, CSA Northeast Regional Director of Operations. “We plan to provide greater efficiencies to NAVAIR by streamlining processes, measuring performance and establishing high performing teams, which will allow our client to reinvest and reallocate limited resources to other worthy objectives.”
The work will mainly be performed at NAWCAD Lakehurst and CSA’s Lakehurst office. Additional support will be provided at Patuxent River, Maryland; Joint Program Office, District of Columbia; Hurlburt Field Air Force Base (AFB), Florida; Eglin, AFB, Florida; Cannon AFB, New Mexico; and Mildenhall AFB, United Kingdom. The period of performance is five years, inclusive of all options, and will expire on April 26, 2022.
CSA supports other NAWCAD Lakehurst programs in the areas of program management and acquisition: Foreign Military Sales, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) under AIR 6.7.6 and the domestic components for E-2-C/D Hawkeye, F/A-18 Hornet models and MV-22 Osprey.
