CSA to attend Pentagon hosted Industry Day for JEDI

March 6, 2018—TYSONS CORNER, Va.— On Wednesday, March 7 in Arlington, Virginia, the Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Executive Steering Group (CESG) will host an industry day for Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) cloud acquisition.

CSA will be among hundreds of industry, academia and government representatives at the unclassified event. The industry day will outline the DoD’s plan for the cloud contract. A draft solicitation package will be released on Wednesday that includes instructions on how to submit questions because no questions will be taken during the event

.“The Defense Department is rapidly pursuing cloud computing technologies, issuing  capability rich contracts like JEDI,” said Jay Heroux, CSA Executive Vice President. “This increase in demand for cutting-edge technologies has even warranted new procurement methods. That is why it is even more important than ever for agencies to have strong transition plans and detailed execution strategies to provide structure and continuity in such a rapidly evolving environment.”
