As CSA’s Director of Service Line Management, Suzanne Franklin is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of CSA’s service offerings, linking vision to delivery improvements. Her responsibilities include the identification, development, and implementation of CSA’s service lines and corresponding offering documentation. She is also responsible for the overall workforce development strategy supporting CSA’s service lines, and oversees the standardization and rollout of functional training critical to exceptional delivery and professional growth of CSAers. In coordination with functional subject matter experts, Suzanne develops, sources, and promotes CSA career development paths, to include communications and updates as the service offering landscape evolves.

Suzanne has over 10 years of experience in academia and industry supporting the DoD. Prior to joining CSA, Suzanne developed her program management expertise coordinating federally funded research programs at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Naval Health Research Center, and Stanford Research Institute. Suzanne transitioned to DoD acquisitions in 2007. In Stuttgart, Germany, she supported the development and fielding of satellite communications and networks for sponsors at EUCOM and AFRICOM at SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic. After moving to San Diego, Suzanne was integral in standing up the Office of the Chief Engineer at SSC Pacific.

Suzanne studied Biology at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and graduated from UCSD with a BA in History. She has traveled, worked, or lived in 31 countries. Suzanne is now based in San Diego with her husband Alan, a retired Marine, and their hound, Scout.
