Scott Arnold is the Senior Director of Operations for CSA clients in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. He leads all aspects of client service delivery and service excellence in his region. Scott works day-to-day with clients, CSA program managers, and CSA professional staff to provide the right resources, knowledge, tools, and methods to deliver services and produce great results for CSA’s clients. He understands his client’s programs, policies, and structures and builds trusted relationships with them. With his team, he works to drive innovation, new ideas, and best practices to increase his client’s productivity to help guide them to decisions that lead to high value. Scott is a high performing leader who values teamwork, commitment, and excellence, ensuring his team has the skills, training, and opportunities needed to be successful.
Scott began his career in the United States Marine Corps after graduation from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Chemistry. He has a distinguished twenty-seven-year career as a Marine, retiring in 2014 as a Colonel. As an EA-6B “Prowler” Naval Flight Officer, Scott made numerous deployments and participated in multiple conflicts to include Operation Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Allied Force, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. During his service in the Marine Corps, Scott had many leadership responsibilities and key assignments, including Flight Instructor, Maintenance Officer, VMAQ-4, Commanding Officer, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Forces Command and Commanding Officer of the Regional Support Command- Southwest, NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Scott has commanded and overseen the safety, readiness, welfare, and operations of teams ranging from twenty to two-thousand military and civilian personnel. He has extensive international experience and has worked with partners from the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Jordan. In addition to his military operational service, he graduated from Air Command and Staff College with an M.A. is the Operational Art and Science of Warfare and he is a Distinguished Graduate of the National War College where he earned an M.S. in National Security Strategy.
In 2015, Scott joined CSA, and in 2016 he was selected to be the Director of Operations for the Mid-Atlantic region. He serves clients within the DoD, including the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) program. In this role, he leads the 165-member contractor support services team that provide day-to-day acquisition management, project management, financial management, contracting, and administration for PEO EIS, Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Office (PMW 205), Navy Enterprise Business Solutions (Navy EBS) Program Office (PMW 220), Sea Warrior Program (PMW 240), and Enterprise Software Licensing (PMM 110). He advises the CSA team and the client on strategic, technical, and programmatic issues to help guide these programs to achieve their goals and objectives. Scott contributes to CSA methods, tools, and other intellectual property that helps CSA deliver services and is a key voice in charting the future strategy for CSA and our future leaders in the company.
Scott is happily married to his wife, Lisa, and has two incredibly energetic and happy children. He is a passionate golfer, Ironman triathlete, and multi-marathon finisher.
