Brenda Johnson is the Director of Human Resources at CSA. She joined CSA in 2007 and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the human resources field. As the Director of Human Resources, Brenda is responsible for the human resources practices and policies of the organization and works closely with CSA’s leadership team to enable growth and deliver maximum business results in the staffing efforts and retention of quality employees.
Brenda’s role encompasses many responsibilities to include policy and procedure development and communication; employee benefit plan design and administration; employment regulations and legislation compliance, advisor to management on employment issues, new hire orientation design and implementation; training modules; and performance management.
Prior to joining CSA, Brenda worked in a variety of settings, including manufacturing and corporate headquarters supporting call centers, geographically dispersed franchise operations, and workforce personnel. Brenda’s previous experience in key HR focus areas included managing the recruitment process; job description development and competencies; compensation studies and salary range parameters; development and implementation the performance evaluation process; policy development and implementation; employee benefit plans and design; legal compliance; new hire orientation; and mandatory training modules. As a member of the regional leadership team, Brenda also handled the planning, promotion, and implementation of all HR programs throughout the enterprise.
Brenda holds a BS in Business Management from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA. She is currently a member of the national organization Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Brenda enjoys the great outdoors, whether it is the beach, the mountains, or a lake. She and her husband enjoy traveling to places off the beaten path with their cat Scheherazade in tow.
