Amy Koch
Director of Career Development

Amy Koch joined CSA in 2007 and is CSA’s Director of Career Development. She is responsible for overseeing the identification, development, standardization, and implementation of CSA’s career field training, collaboration, and progression. As part of the Talent Development Team, Amy is responsible for building and delivering curriculum, training, and documentation that enhances employee efficiency and performance. She facilitates employee collaboration through tools and engagement to enhance performance, efficiency, and career field networking. She is also responsible for building and managing a career progression process that enables employee career planning, career pathing, and level progression.

Amy started her contracts management support career with PMW 160 and PMW 150. When she joined CSA, Amy became the PMW 770-2 contracts management support lead, where she led two programs through contract award. She supported DASN (AP) as the DoD Acquisition support lead, and later supported the SPAWAR 2.0 CMPG and SPAWAR 6.0 efforts. Prior to her current role, Amy led the PEO EIS PMW 205 CSA contracts management support team in both San Diego and Washington DC. 

Amy brings more than ten years of professional consulting services in the federal government, with an emphasis on contracts management. Amy is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a BA in Social Relations and Policy as well as East Asian Studies. In addition, Amy is a graduate of Syracuse College of Law, where she earned her JD. Amy has a license to practice law in the State of New York, and is a Registered In-House Counsel in the State of California.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys Crossfit, cooking, tennis, traveling, and golf. She resides in San Diego with her loving husband, James (a Navy veteran), their adorable baby son, Warren, and their fantastic rescue puppy, Shorty.
